Game is shutting down my computer

Every time I get on, within 5 minutes of playing, no matter what I'm doing, my computer shuts off. This only occurs when I play Pirate101, so i know that whatever it is, it has something to do with this game.
The times are random between 3-5 minutes usually. At first this would only occur the first time I log in, my computer would shut down, then when I boot back up and get on the game, it would never occur again. That's no longer the case, this is happening every single time I get on the game now, doesn't matter the time of day, whether or not I have other applications running, where I am in the game, or any other variables other than me being on the game.
Is there a fix for this?

You'll want to contact support@pirate101.com if this problem persists. When you contact them, please provide as much detail as possible:

1. Confirm username (which account are you playing)
2. What area were you trying to access when this happened?
3. What time (approximately) was it?
4. Please attach game logs for further review (see below for more instructions).
5. Are you still having this trouble? If not, what occurred?

Instructions for sending game logs:
Use your email service to add an attachment. Drill down to the Pirate101 Folder then to the Bin Folder and the Log Folder then select "Captain_XXX.Log" (the highest numbered one or the most recently dated). Then just hit send!

If this is too large for your email server to attach or send, then open the game folder, go to the the bin folder again and locate the Captain.log. Right click on the log file and select Save as Zip (or similar wording - will vary depending on your specific operating system). Then, go back to your email and attach the newly zipped Captain.log.zip file.

I had a similar issue a couple of years ago on a laptop, after anywhere between 10 and 30 minutes of full-screen gaming it would simply shut down, despite being able to run for hours doing anything else. The problem turned out to be the dedicated graphics card (it was a hybrid SLI system) was on its way out.

Personally I doubt that one specific game could cause this type of crash.

Can you play other full screen, 3D games?
Have you tried playing P101 in windowed mode?
Is heat an issue? More likely if its a laptop, though not impossible on a desktop.
Does the computer shut down fully, or are the fans still running etc?
When it shuts down does the screen turn off properly (amber light on monitor, as if shut down normally), does the image freeze, or do you get a blue screen?
Does your sound stop completely, or does it continue playing the last tone continuously?

If you can answer those questions I'm sure we can narrow down your problem.
