Black Hand Monks

The black hand monks in the corrupted shrine are way too hard. Does anyone have any tips to defeat them?

I generally put them off a little while after I first get the quest to beat them up.

They too were hard for my witchdoctor, when he was doing Kan Po's 2nd promotion quest.Maybe just try them again at level 55

Go back to Miranda. Beat up Captain Blood until he give you his coat. Then go beat up monks. They hate the Flames of DOOOOOOM the coat gives you. Also, you will look cool as it is a nice-looking coat. Great looking boots he has too. The hat, not so much.

Maybe not until the end of MooShu, but certainly get yourself and your companions a bit higher level; like Rooster Cogburn's quests in Cool Ranch, you'll want to be just a bit higher than you are then you get them before you start on them.

When I did get started on them, I tried to focus on one at a time unless I had a great AoE that could nail the majority of them at once. This is one time I strongly recommend assigning your weaker crew members to a task to keep them out of the fight.

Go to the more crowded realms and see if you can find someone who also needs to beat these guys up. If you each focus on one monk at a time, it's much easier (that is, he attacks one and you attack another).

Go back and farm Miranda for Captain Blood's jacket. Use it.
