Stealth and backstabbing

I feel like I'm missing something here. How do I backstab? How does the stealh ability work with it?

Currently, you will do more damage with the backstab power if you use the hide power first. You don't have to hide first, but you will do more damage if you do.

However, I'll be "cleaning up" these powers as soon as possible, not only the card text, but also some tweaks to functionality, so that they will be much more easy to use.

same as ratbeards but in a simpler way: if hiding, backstab will make you hit harder
