Cutthroat

Hello, has anyone noticed that when you promote the cutthroat companion for the first time he gets a hook but if you promote him again his hook disappears?

His portrait has the hook, he even has it in the commercial.

I don't know whether this is intentional or a bug.

It's probably because his hook gets old and he gets a better weapon.
