Shark Week code not working

I've attempted to enter the shark week code. Every time I click the Activate Now button I recieve an error message that says "We're sorry, but the code you entered has encountered an error. Please verify your code and try again."

I tried to redeem my gift from KI for Shark Week, but when I log in and try to copy the verification code, that proves I'm human, I get a message that says there is a problem. Thank you for the Shark Week gift, I'm afraid we may not be able to receive it.

Ahoy,

We had a bit of a shark attack on the website code this morning. If you got an error earlier, try again and it should now be working.

Keep in mind, the code "sharrrkweek" only works when you redeem it on the Pirate101 website.
