Badge Glitch?

I noticed when I equip a badge I see a class logo displayed next to the badge, example: Florenzan Grand Tourist, but if another pirate has the same badge equipped I do not see their class logo. Is this a glitch or intentional and if this is intentional can you please give us a way to display our class logo in game to say "hey, I'm a (,,,,or ) and I am proud to be one"!

Yes, this is intentional. I suppose it's just to remind you of your Class?
