Moo Manchu Got Bugged???

as most of you notice in recent update the chests at the end of the fight got replaced to those new "picnic" style chest.
it appear that in the tower of moo manchu the special chest that drop moo manchu gear wont appear after defeating him unlike the nefarious (the chests remained the same)
so can you still got the imperial gear of moo manchu or its currently bugged?
