Newb question on how to use Turn the Tide

My apologies fellow Pirates, but I keep seeing this and not sure what to do. So in battle and you see this come up ... what exactly do you do? What does it do?

It's a Talent bonus; you don't have to "do" anything. Hit the "p" key to bring up your powers/talents, go through the list until you find Turn the Tide, click on it and read the card.

Turn the Tide gives you extra Attack when you're at half health or lower, with the exact number of Attack boosted going higher with each additional rank. You'll often find it on Buccaneer Companions.
