Witch Doctor Accuracy

Hey guys! So apparently my witch companions fizzle a lot. I increase their accuracy to see if that will change it. I tried reading other posts, but says nothing about increasing their accuracy. How can I fix this, and does accuracy even help? thnx to those that responds!

Pretty sure accuracy applies to all weapon attacks. I don't try to increase my witchdoctor character's accuracy because they have plenty of spells but it would benefit companions who run out of spells.

From my experience, accuracy does affect the Fizzle rate of Witchdoctors (and any other spell casting being).
