Wanting a little catch-up

I've returned from a vacation, and lo and behold upon my return Pirate101's first real update in four years is there for me to play with.

I'm itching to hop onto Merciless Brian Ornsley and get into some trouble, but I'd like a little bit of a pick-me-up since it's been a bit since the update came out. Have any strategies emerged, or are there some tips and tricks that I should keep in mind as I go into this?

Same. I hate going in blind to something new with other players who've got the process down pat. I always worry I'll ruin their well-oiled machine they got going on, lol.

I've been back on a few times but have been avoiding the new stuff until I know more about it.
